It's no secret I've been into over-the-top indulgent treats lately. At this point, I might just be making up excuses to eat like a kid whose parents left her home alone with a fully stocked pantry. But sometimes it's fun to feel like a child again, even if your time travel has to occur through the processed snacks you ate after school before we all knew better.
In any case, I'm celebrating my return to school this fall (night classes for adults, but it didn't stop me from buying new school supplies) with after-school snack themed chocolate bark. It's impossibly easy to make — this isn't so much cooking as jamming the most delicious salty and sweet items from your pantry together into a pan — and a real crowd-pleaser. It's hard to mess up and even harder to stop eating. And why would you want to? SNACKS FOR LIFE.
