When you have no money and live far away from your folks, the holidays can seem like sort of a bummer. Not being able to see your family can put a real damper on the holiday spirit, even if yours rivals Buddy the Elf's. However, Friendsgiving is a popular remedy — and with good reason! Not only will your besties at Friendsgiving not judge you for 1) serving fancy-ass cocktails that may contain the same ingredients as the turkey brine, but they will 2) also encourage the excess consumption of said cocktails.
We know throwing together a Friendsgiving bash in your 400 sq. ft. apartment can seem like an insurmountable task, especially if dinner prep includes a trip to IKEA to buy a real table, finally. So we're here to help you look like you know what the hell you're doing and have an enviable table setting, even if you do burn the turkey and serve the gravy in a red Solo cup.
Get your party started right by whetting your guests' appetite for turkey, pie and cocktails with our customizable invitations. We've got digital and printable versions available below — just click to download and either handwrite them, or edit the invitation in your browser window or through Adobe reader. Type your information into the form fields and you're ready to send — in person, through email or even snail mail!
Subtly head off the possibility for feuds among friends by creating a seating chart using placecards. Embarrassing nicknames accepted — nay, encouraged. We show the placecards lying flat here for photo reasons, but they should be folded in half hamburger style so they can stand up.

PIE BOX LABELS
Tupperware is so 20th century. Send your guests home with slices of pie in their very own handmade boxes. Martha's got the box tutorial, natch, and we've got the printable labels. Print them on adhesive paper, or print them on cardstock and break out the rubber cement to affix them to the top of your boxes. Trim along the crop marks — you'll cut about .25" off of each side, but this will ensure the color goes all the way to the edge of your labels. Send your guests home in style with some second helpings of pie — if there is any left!
